Pretty good! I got this one either for free or super cheap and those are often a bit iffy if not downright bad. I've had it for a while without reading it because of that and because it's self-described as a cozy. It was not my idea of a cozy at all. Good female character who is forced out of her depression over a failed marriage and ultimately proves to herself how strong she is once she is sucked into a mystery that she can't let go.

The suspicious death of a muckraking newspaper editor in San Francisco leads the ex-wife of one of his prime targets to investigate further, revealing a snake's nest of corruption and double dealing.

Not quite a romance and not quite a cozy mystery.

Kept me guessing

This book was terrific throughout! I couldn't keep from wondering who done it the entire time! When the killer was revealed I was in shock! Highly recommend for any lover of a good cozy mystery!
