This book was published in conjunction with a 2011 exhibit that apparently was in only 2 cities, Princeton and Eugene OR. Vasi published his etchings in a10-volume guidebook for visitors to Rome. I discovered Vasi at the website, Rome Art Lover, which has all or most of Vasi's engravings along with photos of the same sites as they exist today. The most impressive image is Vasi's 1768 View of Rome. The website has broken this down into 72 pages which can be downloaded, printed and pasted into a 34" x 80" print.… (mehr)
