Praying the hours is a wonderful way to stay in touch with the reason for the season. Phyllis Tickle's book is just the ticket to walk you through this sacred practice. I really appreciated how I found new things in the week's collect by reading it multiple times a day. I found this to be a great gift.

Definitely some good passages but intended for a specialist audience. A hefty dose of theological jargon, always defined.

The topic is fascinating.

I found this to be a wonderful Lenten practice. A great way to remind myself of the season. A good way to reflect without being too dark.

Lovely little set of stories with an Eastertide theme. I enjoy Phyllis Tickle's writing. She really captures the place that she loves so well. She seasons with a bit of humor and ends with a thought to carry with you. I liked this collection a lot.
