A true 1960s children's book - cheap production, simple, plastic spoons and plates, 1960s see-saw, strange birthday cake, interesting cooker, washing line, prehistoric iron, etc.
Wow, never have I seen a children's book illustrated with stitchery. With actual photographs of kittens in front of stitched backgrounds, this is a very unique book. Another thing I have never seen: talking cats, but they exist in this book. Who doesn't have the urge to know the thoughts of the most independent creatures of all? I certainly do!
This book is purely for enjoyment by either cats ladies or kids, either will love it!
