Finally, a way to get more True Blood action during the off season! I was expecting the graphic novels to be as painful to read as the original novels, but the first volume was surprisingly enjoyable! This way we get the visuals (Eric = yum), but we leave out the annoying southern accents.
Well, it wasn't as good as I'd hoped it would be. A lot of derivative future hopping ghost of future shit. No hint of upcoming spoilerworthy season 8 arc, either. The only interesting feature was Connor, surprisingly enough. Big bad or future god? Who knows, eh?
This one was just alright. I didn't really get the side story with Lafayette and Pam. It was all over the place.

The last one of these Angel comics that I really enjoyed was The Last Angel in Hell. I stuck with the to the end, hoping to be dazzled again, but that never really happened once Brian Lynch stopped writing the series.… (mehr)
