Beautiful watercolours. The artist does a lot of work on wet paper, to the point where sometimes it makes my eyes wiggle and for a joke I took off my glasses -- to my complete surprise, there's no difference to my extreme myopia between the blurry everyday vision and the painting. Then sometimes he goes for more detail and it's altogether different. I'd like to see his work in silkscreen and lithography. A very interesting book if you're familiar with these places (Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong) or wish to be.… (mehr)
