Level 3: Jim Smiley and his Jumping Frog and Other… von Twain
As much as I love Mark Twain's sense of humour, these adaptations might not be the best suited for young students. The book even has exercises and a wordlist at the end, and a very informative introduction at the beginning, but most of the stories are either not very relatable for this age group or they punch too hard. However, I gave the first story a try, I assigned it to three groups as a spring break readin. I'll update the review with the results.
