Jill Lewis moving back to her hometown to run the local paper - The Lakes News. But when a congressman's aide is found drowned in Lake Delevan, Jill undertakes an investigation to find out whether it was fair play or foul.
A good easy read suitable for young adults.

The Candidate (Jill Lewis Mystery Trilogy #3) von Susan Wales

NCLA Review - Mystery, suspense and romance—this story provides all three! These two authors are great at introducing their characters and, as a reader, you feel connected to them. You’re sure to be delighted at the interesting twists and edge-of-your-seat suspense. While a good bit of the book centers on the political arena, it doesn’t get bogged down there. There are several different scenarios taking place simultaneously but this story flows so well together you’re never lost. And, as for the romance portion, it is a wonderful courtship story and inspires one to hold onto their values. A great book to sit down on a cold winter day, relax with a pot of coffee and let the worries of the world pass you by. A truly enjoyable read. Rating: 3—PL… (mehr)
