Big Jack finds more at the seashore than a beautiful scene to paint. There is hope for his soul when God brings dear people across his path that were long forgotten. The old barrel organ from Christie's Old Organ returns in this sequel to draw people together. Jack must choose whether or not he will "cross the line" at the bidding of Christie, the earnest preacher in the little seaside fishing village. The honest, humble people of Runswick Bay will leave an indelible mark on Jack Villiers that will change his life forever.… (mehr)

A heartwarming story about a young boy who is on a quest to find out how his dear old friend Treffy can get to “home, sweet home.” One of the most famous children’s novels of the Victorian era, Christie’s Old Organ continues to gently draw tender young hearts to the saving knowledge of Jesus.
Filled with emotion, this heartwarming story tells of the unique friendship between a poor, homeless boy and a sick old organ grinder. It is in the melodious tunes of that old organ that Christie discovers how his dear friend Treffy can find his “home, sweet home.”… (mehr)

Christie has no family - that's why he is overjoyed to be given a roof over his head by Old Treffy, the Organ Grinder. All that Treffy wants is to have peace in his heart and a home of his own. That is what Christie wants too.
One day a girl called Mabel hears Christie's Old Organ playing just outside her window. She becomes Christie's friend and tells him about another home you can go to if you love the Lord Jesus.

O.F. Walton writes a compelling book of love, dedication, suffering and hope by a young orphan who must find enough donations from playing an organ to live.

He befriends an old man because he plays "Home Sweet Home"--a song he remembers his mother sang to him. The two search for hope in spite of the struggles of finding food, having no one else and knowing the old man's sickness will lead to his death.

A story giving hope, showing mercy, and portraying the quest we all have with our after death and our God. Truly a heart warming book to encourage and uplift.… (mehr)
