Alexander Waugh was born in 1963, and is the grandson of Evelyn Waugh, and a son of columnist Auberon Waugn and novelist Teresa Waugh. After studying music at Manchester University, he became Chief Opera Critic at the Mail on Sunday and the London Evening Standard. I thought I had done with Evelyn Waugh. Looked at him again recently apropos of interest in the Bright Young Things phenomenon; found rereading his novels left a bad taste but enjoyed exploring his diaries and travel writing. Now this book has added a new dimension. A portrait of several spectacularly dysfunctional generations of the Waugh family, but much more than a “Daddy, Dearest” memoir. Consistently insightful and thought-provoking on the subject of fatherhood and sonship. A great find.… (mehr)

Shakespeare Beyond Doubt? von John M. Shahan

This book is for those anti-stratfordians who accept that shakespeare could not have written those plays. It presents ALL the evidence including those arguments that the stratfordians use as proof that the man from stratford DID write the plays.

Lots of images of signatures and other evidence.

It is actually nice to have all the evidence in one neat tidy book.

A little dry in some places, but very informative.
