Riley can’t get a job no matter how hard she looks. Until she sees an ad for an assistant to a well-known horror writer. Figuring, what the hell, she gets an interview that isn’t an interview so much as the current assistant turning over the job to her. Right there and then. Riley accepts the position because it looks pretty easy. She’s about to find out the perks of the job.
Like most monster porn, this story could use some editing love, but for the most part it’s a decent short foray into the nasty seamy side of erotica. Riley ends up in a gangbang with the Jersey Devils, but she’s not complaining. And what a dirty old man that horror author is. Looks like Riley found her true calling after all.… (mehr)

This monster porn story features a childhood monster, the boogeyman. You know, the one that hides under your bed or, more comfortably (for him), in your closet. Except instead of one bogeyman there are several. And they want to gang bang you. Repeatedly. It’s deliciously creepy and also kinda hot. I could have done without the bucket loads of cum there at the end, but that seems to be a monster porn staple. Fairly well-written, but could use another pass in the editing dept. But…you knew there’d be a big butt, right? I mean, a big but. This story is extremely short. Okay, first off: Description is misleading. I learn that almost immediately.
Description on GoodReads "At the urging of her dad, nineteen-year-old Ashley heads out on a solo road trip across the country, hoping to find herself."
That single sentence, by itself, almost made me skip this book. Maybe it's just the way I read it. I admit my brain isn't exactly functioning at 100% peak capacity at the moment. Still, that read to me: Ashley's father urges his 19 year old daughter to go on a solo road trip across the country. That's wrong. What the description should read is something like: finding his 19 year old daughter yet again doing nothing and wasting the day, Ashley's father urges her to "do something". Start a job. Go do something fun. Just . . . get out of the house already. Ashley, eventually, comes up with the idea of a solo road trip. Her father isn't tremoundously pleased by the idea of his daughter zooming around by herself, but is pleased she is "doing something". Wordy, I know. There probably is a better way of wording the issue. Maybe even the sentence I found fault with originally.
Um. hmm. 23 page story. I just spent forever and a day on one sentence in the description, based on readin 15% of the story. Um. Oopsie.
Ok. Hmm. So, the young woman's run in with a motorcycle gang reads exactly like what happened recently. Well, the intial part. The part where a car is on the road, a motorcycle gang zooms up, surrounds, then controls the flow of traffic to the point that the car has to obey the motorcycles. To the point, in real life, the driver freaked out and ran over a motorcycle. Here in the story, the driver and motorcycles ended up stopped in the middle of the highway.
I was all ready to give "grief" over "eww evil bikers" when the first encounter mirrors a real life encounter. Well, except for location, number of people in the car, and gender of the driver.
And then she reacts stupidly to the situation. Granted, there possbiliy isn't any reaction that isn't stupid, but still.
Heh. Then it turns into a "you owe us a debt. It will probably be rough. But, eh, you tell us no, and we don't do that." Or, Something like that. Shesh. The young woman is freaked out, turned on, and gives consent.
Hmms. I think I spent too much time reacting to how the description was wrong. mmphs.
So, two week road trip, this story contains, I believe, the first day/night and . . . the driving home day before arival. So, whatever happened in between, if it's not in this story, is just covered by "I visited cities, meet friends . . ."
The story part was interesting enough. Until it disappeared. I mean the idea of a road trip could have been interesting to read. But that story is a thin little bit of something or other to explain how a woman pissed off some bikers and they made her pay her debt through gang-bang action.
