Rezensionen

So here I am, years late but the upside is that I don't have to wait for volumes to come out.
This is good start even if there wasn't much story, the art is not really to my liking but I'm intrigued enough to keep going.

The manga centers around Kitano Seiichiro, a boy with a pure and kind heart but has a scary face. The plot is basically a running gag of how people always assume Katino is a delinquent and a drug addict (sometimes even the devil incarnation). But that’s not the case all the time. Despite attracting delinquents from other schools and even becoming the ‘banchou’ (gang leader) of his own school, Kitano manages to attract friends and a lover who see him for who he truly is: a kind yet socially awkward boy.
What I personally loved about the manga is that it doesn’t get repetitive. It’s what I was afraid of when I first decided to read it. I wouldn’t even call it a comedy since Kitano’s cheerful personality despite taken for a delinquent affects everyone he meets, which makes for great character developments. So much love is felt in the story. The artstyle is simple and a bit rough at the beginning but it gets better in the later volumes.

Lots of action; lots of scene changes.

A good introduction is tough to write because the artist/writer has to fill the reader in on what the world is like and move the plot along enough to keep the reader's interest. It also means that the artist/writer has to have well-developed characters and the world already in mind.

(I'll come back to this first volume review and give my overall assessment of the series.)

Getting talky, but the battle with Riful of the West was pretty cool. 24 claymores! How can I keep track of all of them!

Now yagi is upping the ante.
