- I'm an author, editor, teacher, and teacher trainer in the field of English Language Teaching (ELT). I taught English, French, and Japanese for over 20 years in Asia, Africa, and the US. My MA in TESL is from the School for International Training in Vermont.
I currently write and edit English language teaching materials and textbooks, and conduct teacher training workshops. My areas of specialty and interest include teaching writing, teaching reading, business English, academic English, testing, and humor. I'm a frequent plenary speaker at international conferences, and do online webinars and trainings as well.

English for Scammers is a interesting book. I think the authors may have lost their idea of book half way through the book. This book gives helpful tips, it just needs to be more defined.

Okay, I think this is an interesting book, but what I don't understand is the point or reason for it. Are the authors trying to give scammers the tips to write better emails? Is it to help people learn the English rules of grammar? Whatever the case, the content of the book feels disjointed; not sure if it wants to be a textbook, or a humorous piece? Is it aimed at children, or ESOL, or something else? Cute idea, just shore up the themes and goals behind it.
