Retrospective of Historical Fiction

ahef1963: A weird tale, verging on if not actually horror, but certainly worth reading.

ahef1963 : I managed to finish it, but only with the help of an online source that steered me through what she was talking about. Unnecessarily dense.

ahef1963: I love this one so much that one of my children is named for a character in this book. It is chick flick meets historical fiction and it is a great story.

ahef1963 : This is probably just me, but as I don't know port from starboard, I felt dreadfully lost in a book that is constantly needing the reader to know where the characters are on the ship!
