Jericho Caine, the vampire slayer, is trying to get over the death of his fellow Death Brother, the demon hunter, Father Tom Padilla.

However, a European vampire clan has risen again with plans to spread vampirism in the United States and then throughout the world. They're awaiting their powerful leader to join them as he sends his number two vampire ahead to pinpoint Jericho's weaknesses. A werewolf pack also emerges that have a history with the vampires, so they attempt to unite with the slayer by using a former Dark Hunter, who becomes one of Jericho's love interests. So now, Jericho must navigate the supernatural world in a crippling state of mind with a new assistant, old allies, and new ones.

Mark and Jesse have been friends since they were kids and became best friends – like brothers in high school. However, Mark slowly begins to develop romantic feelings for Jesse, which puts a strain on, not only their relationship, but all other relationships they’d ever have.

Fast forward twelve years later, and Mark’s feelings have only deepened because of their proximity in Salt Lake City. Both are successful in their chosen careers, Mark in advertising and Jesse in construction. Jesse married his childhood sweetheart, Annika Johnson, and they have a child with another one on the way. Sadly, Mark finds out he has an inoperable brain tumor and finally decides to tell Jesse how he truly feels.

But Mark must tread carefully because even though he and Annika are also close, she begins to suspect Mark has a secret crush on Jesse. Several obstacles and side stories arise on the way to passionate night between Mark and Jesse in a remote cabin.

As she enters young adulthood, Hut-Yo-Cull’s uncle reveals she is of royal lineage from an extinct race of bounty hunters called the Ambulate Inanis Mortem, or Void Walkers. They are gifted with the ability to teleport, which makes them so formidable. She is tasked with avenging her parent’s death and assuming the throne to rebuild her race.

However, an all-powerful being known as Minister Milos, conjured and nurtured a prophecy for over fifty years that predicts the destruction of his primary adversaries, a massive galactic armada, known as the Merciless. They are led by ruthless brothers, Admiral Gloomis and General Vrane, who represent the only force that stands in the way of Milos conquering the universe for himself.

Meanwhile, Jake Gunn is an innocent nineteen-year-old from a small town in Iowa, and at the heart of the Gunn Prophecy. His one true love, Lexi, is abducted by the Merciless to dissuade Jake from fulfilling the Prophecy. Jake then sets out on a mission across the stars to get her back. But the only way to accomplish it is to join with Hut-Yo and other allies to defeat both Minister Milos and the Merciless. This is an action-packed Space Opera with twists and turns galore. The ending will leave the reader wanting more of Hut-Yo Cull and Jake Gunn.

Leechadon the Soul Eater, a powerful demon and the new leader of the underworld, uses the opportunity to attack the Earth by bringing together four allies of his own. They are the vampire lord Dracool, a witch named Alina, Deadric the zombie leader, and Gregor the demon lord. If they can work together, they represent the greatest threat to humanity that has ever been assembled.

Leechadon strikes a deal with Hangman to help him get his revenge, in exchange for the Hangman agreeing not to interfere with Leechadon’s plans for the Earth. The past, present, and future play relevant parts in this adventure. Allegiances are tested as both humans and supernatural forces clash in this epic finale to the Hangman series.

In return, Sariel agrees to help the Hangmen bring back his wife and son, who are Heaven. Sariel also recruits a vengeful scientist, Dr. Ranken, to create a monster, who is a combination of a rare male vampire siren, and a werewolf. Sariel wants the doctor and his creation, Thaden, to only eliminate Tom, but they have other plans. They hire a hitman, to acquire a mystical weapon called the Takara Dagger. It has the power to kill any living being, including angels and demons. They intend to kill anyone that poses a threat to their ascension to power. As the new threat grows, the Death Brothers must face the danger without their allies. Susan Taki, Tom’s girlfriend, is still in a coma in San Diego. The Grand Librarian, Alexander Merryweather, is in Chicago tending to his new family.
