Über michI've got a PhD in Medieval Studies. I really enjoy learning and am perpetually curious. Due to frequent relocation on my part and current lack of space (and funds), I don't own as many books as I've read: I get most of my reading from various libraries.

One day I will own a place which will have walls, floors, tables and chairs covered in books :o)

Über meine BibliothekI'd like to add every book I've ever read... but that's a Herculean task if there ever was one!

My reading tastes are quite varied: I usually read about four books at a time, with at least one of those being either non-fiction or fiction, depending on the others. It amazes me how much I read, given how little time I seem to have in my daily life. Just goes to show: where there's a will, there's a way :)

I enjoy reading non-fiction: memoirs, autobiographies/biographies, anything about gender and sexuality, psychology, medicine... basically, anything I don't experience in my own life.
My taste in fiction includes fantasy, horror (black humor a must) and humorous fiction (I love humorous fantasy!). I'm very picky with my fiction reading but am always willing to give a book a go to see if I'll like it :)
