Über meine Bibliothek
My library is rather small. It used to be quite large. But fate intervened and my physical quarters were reduced. I had to consolidate. Because of space limitations, I'm very careful with book purchases. I have a few books signed by their author, and my "TO READ" pile is sizable.
Über mich
J'aime lire! I'm a humble Morosoph (a would-be philosopher) who's avocationally devoted to books and reading. I especially enjoy history, general non-fiction, biography, sports and the arts and culture. I read, though not as often, fiction. Probably the best written book I've ever read is Zusak's THE BOOK THIEF -- a work of fiction. I try to keep up with events and trends in the publishing industry, and I'm an ardent reader of book reviews. The NY Times Sunday Book Review, the Washington Post's Book World and other critique sources are must-reads for me. With printed matter in and of itself, I'm a traditionalist -- I prefer hard copy books. But I do dabble in my Kindle every now and then. But overall, whether the book's form is new age or old school, I read.
