Hi! Thank you for reading my profile. Writing is one of my passions. The others include music, reading, learning, teaching, history, Arthurian legend, Irish and Celtic literature and topics, social justice issues and God, not necessarily in that order. My author is James Herriot. The Lord of the Rings and The Three Musketeers are at the top of my favorite novels list and my all-time favorite literary character is Merlin.

Currently, I teach writing to college students who need to improve their skills. Recently, I helped found a writing critique group. It's a great group of talented writers and insightful critiquers. Last year, I began working on a YA fantasy novel which I plan to finish this year. Its title at the moment is Music of Dragons.

I write two blogs. They are "Fragments and Friends," a blog about writing, and "Whispers of a Banshee Weaver," a blog about fantasy. Some of the posts on Banshee Weaver are "written" by characters from my book. Both blogs can be found on Blogger.com.

My Twitter account focuses on fantasy (although I do comment on other things from time to time and retweet tweets from other people that I find insightful or funny).
