Some of it will be pruned, though getting either one of us to consent to let go of a book is problematic. :-D
Science Fiction, Fantasy, RPG, Mysteries, and Making are the subjects of the bulk of our books.

A few words about those of our tags which locate a book to a particular container within our collection:

Thing of Beauty refers to the main bookcase in our living room. When Christopher built it long ago, Elsa teased him about using fancy and expensive kiln-dried wood instead of the more usual (until then) bricks and boards. His justification was that "A thing of beauty is a joy forever," and its name has been Thing of Beauty ever since.

bin nn refers to the large clear plastic bins, mostly located in the living room, but some in the kitchen, craft room, hallway... well you know how it goes.

box nnn refers to the smaller clear plastic document boxes, found in the same variety of locations.

filebox nn refers to the cardboard file boxes located behind the couch in the living room beneath the large back window.

chainmaille materials bin refers to the bin of chainmaille rings, etc. that is also home to a few books about chainmaille. This bin is in the craft room.

calligraphy and illumination bin similarly refers to the bin with calligraphy and illumination materials (as in illuminated manuscripts, the production of) that is also home to the most-used books on those subjects. This bin is in the craft room.

MBR refers to the bookshelves in the headboard of our bed in the master bedroom. Christopher made the headboard as well.

computer desk refers to the magnificent roll-top desk in the craft room, also made by Christopher, that houses our main computer.

Cooking, unless accompanied by a different location tag, indicates that the book may be found in the kitchen on the cookbook shelf.

RPG, unless accompanied by a different location tag, indicates that the book may be found on the shelves dedicated to role-playing games.

workshop indicates that the book resides in our woodworking workshop.

Most E-Books reside on the network drive (Alexandria) at alexandria/Public/E-Books, although those specifically about role-playing games are at alexandria/Public/Gaming Books.

Draigsffau is our household. We have varied interests, as reflected by our books, but lately have been most focused on woodworking and knitting. We have been in and out of the SCA.
