You'll find my reading tastes to be ecclectic and probably quite average! You may note the lack of "bodice rippers" in my library; they were all that my paternal grandmother ever read, and I remember a much younger me staring in amazement at row upon row of her own personal library. Funny that they have never appealed to me! I am a big Stephen King fan, but lately have found my niche to be more geared toward autobiography and foodie topics. I love to read and I love to cook, so it only seems natural!

I began my love affair with books when I was 8. I would spend every spare waking moment curled up in a chair in my living room, devouring the words and weight and sounds of the turning pages. Just shy of 30 years later, 3 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 aquariums, a budding career as a professional photographer, and one wonderful husband, I still make as much time as possible every day to get lost in a book.
