After reading Tolkien's Lord of the Rings in german translation in 1994, I got "addicted" to Fantasy. I read several years everything, that bore that tag, some good, some less - until I got it over. When one read a good deal of Fantasy books the storys got more and more similiar - and it's hard to find something really good different among them. Therefore I read Fantasy just now and then today when I find a really good book.
I'm more interested in classic 18th-19th century novels now, mostly british and french Literature - that's something for the next years. :-) Otherwise I like good mysterys, thrillers and historical fiction as well.

PS: The Books I've uploaded until yet are just a small part of my Library. Perphaps next month I have the money to change to a livelong membership here and be able to load up all I have in my shelf.

I'm "addicted" to reading ever since I was a little girl. Reading means to me to be able to go for hours in another world, be someone else and "live another live", as well as to have a source for information, deep thoughts, satire etc. I can't image for me a world without books. Since I have managed my skills of the english language so far as to be able to read even 18th century classics, I read more and more in the original language. I try to get on the same level with French - I'm on the way so far. One could read so much more books, if one could read in several languages. When I'm mastered French, than comes next Spanisch or Italian? I don't know... ;-)
