Über meine Bibliothek
Favorite reads are urban fantasy murder mysteries. I like just plain, good literature, but I usually don't go looking for it. I guess it's a boon to have friends with high tastes that put good books in my hands. Although I admit that my most favorite authors of all time are Barbara Kingsolver and John Steinbeck because they both manage to be so basically human, earthy, and plain, but beautifully, spoken. Kingsolver gets extra points because she manages to fit funny in there, too.

My Rating System:
1 Star = Damn this wretched book for stealing a moment of my waking life. I would not recommend it to someone I loathed it and consider it my moral duty to warn away others.
2 Stars = (A) Did I read this? AND/OR (B) Too boring to finish.
3 Stars = Acceptable. It passed the time with some enjoyment.
4 Stars = Good fun and definitely enjoyable. I would recommend this to a friend with similar tastes.
5 Stars = Super good! based on literary merit, pure entertainment, or both. I would recommend this to anyone.
