Über meine Bibliothek
My eclectic collection of books reflects my wide ranging interest in history, photography, canoeing, camping, travel, Wisconsin, wilderness, technology especially computers, and woodworking.
Über mich
I'm a retired Wisconsin high school English and journalism teacher who spent the last 15 years of his career working for the library media department of the district. Currently my wife and I operate a farm where we raise and sell horses, trout and hay. I also operate a small website publishing business. My wife is not much of a traveler but I enjoy getting away and so each year I try to arrange three major trips. This year I will be skiing in British Columbia in March and touring in Hawaii and then visiting one of my sons in California in May. And in September my wife and I will hitch on our travel trailer and be off to visit family and friends in New York and maybe Maine. Canoeing and kayaking have been an important interest of mine through the years and normally one of those trips would be on the water. My annual trips allow me to pursue my life-long interest in photography and history.
