I'm currently loading up only my books relating to my hobby of collecting ancient art. Many of these books were generously given to my by the MFA and it's curators.

Über mich

My name is Kevin Cahalane, and I live in the Boston area. Although my job is in the financial services area, my passion is in ancient art. I'm mostly interested in ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt, although lately I find myself attracted to the art of ancient Peru, as a result of a trip there a few years ago. My antiquities collection is relatively strong in ancient coins (I spent a year and a half cataloging ancient coins for the Museum of Fine Arts), Greek vases, and what's known as "African Red Slip Ware", a type of fine ware made in Carthage and other areas of modern Tunisia, during the 1st to 7th centuries, AD.
