Über michReading is one of my great pleasures in life and I also enjoy meeting people from around the world on Library Things. I think I almost enjoy tracking my reading as much as reading itself, not to mention the excitement of finding a new book to read. I'm a semi-retired Bookcrosser, hoping to get back into it. I'm a married mum of 3 young adults and our fur child Sammy who we found on http://www.fosterdogs.org/
If you visit please feel free to say hi and I would enjoy hearing about what your reading :-)
My Reading in 2020
Lots of reading plans for 2020 but mainly sharing those over here:
My Reading in 2019
I've read about 210 books in 2019 and tracking my reading on good reads.
Favourites for 2019 here:
My Reading in 2018
Hoping to read more and perhaps take up some English Literature units, something I've left unexplored until now.

My Reading in 2017
Trying to regain my reading bug! Began reading poetry, listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
Now reading

My Reading in 2014-2016
I was working and training for a sailing world championship regatta. Didn't read much in those years.
My Reading in 2013
Revisiting my 10 by 10 challenge from 2010, in the group, Club Read 2013. I won't read anywhere near as many as that, but it's a way to continue ticking those books off the list that still sit on top of my Mount TBR.

My Reading in 2012
Some wonderful things coming up in Australian Reading in 2012.
Firstly, 2012 has been earmarked in Australia as our National Year of Reading and I hope to read as many books shortlisted in each State and Territory as I can.
I've joined a state by state challenge to coincide with it
Also, I have joined the Patrick White 100th Anniversary Challenge.. Patrick White is Australia's only Nobel Prize winner for literature and I have been meaning to read his works for an age!

I hope to keep reading from my shelves, especially from the 1001 book list and bookcrossing books that I receive.

I'm getting ready for Orange January 2012! It's a group read in the GirlyBooks Group. Books I'm thinking of Reading for Orange January 2012

A quick link to the Books I've read in 2010

My 2010 reading challenge is here.10 books in 10 categories for 2010, wish me luck :-)

In 2009 I read from the 1001 list and included a number of titles from the list in my reading.

Thinking of Next

Über meine BibliothekOriginally about my library, when it only included about 200 books, I said "Nothing deep, just books I enjoyed and have kept". Although...with so many wonderful recommendations my book collecting obsession is growing as you can see! Just looking for the time to read them ALL! Due to the number of interesting books mentioned on LT I have included a memory jogger tag for "wishlist" books. "wishlist" books are ones that I dont own and havent read but intend to either own/read one day and have either been highly recommended on LT or are along the line of a particular interest of mine. Some of my current interests include History, Science, Historical Fiction, Orange Prize nominees, Miles Franklin prize nominees and Booker Prize nominees.
From November 2017, started reading and adding to a poetry collection.
