It's important that students know that by abbreviating a word it does not change the meaning; it is just a shortened form of the same word (1), it's a fun (1), they also teach a good lesson on idioms. I think this book describes how important it is to love yourself for who you are. I read this book in the library to my mom's Kindergarten class one year and they loved it! They thought I was a magician. (1), Bad days happen to everyone. Sharing a funny story about a bad day will help learn to see the humor in life even when things don’t go right. (1), in this children's book he sends children the positivie message that you can do anything you set your mind to. The choice is yours to do what you want (1), This book is a great story that all students can relate to. The first day of school is always a little scary and it's great to allow the students to see that teachers too are nervous of the year to come. (1), no matter what. (1), This book entails rhymes that are considered humurous poems (1), it's important for children to learn about poetry and different styles of writing. This book also deals with subtraction. These books are a great read and always get the students actively engaged. (1), This book sends an awesome message that all students should be themselves! It depicts how important it is to not care what others think; asserting individuality. (1), This book is a book I believe a lot of students can relate to; it decribes accepting a new born baby sibling and how they percieve things would change. (1), This book descibes how just because someone seems different doesn't mean that they are. Everyone is unique and different and those differences should be embraced and accepted. (1), I can personally connect to this book (1), This book does a great job of demonstrating teacher appreciation. It also provides students with a positive image of teachers. (1), This books great use of onomatopoeias are fun for students to read along.
