I only include books I've really enjoyed. Not all of these sit in my real book shelf, but one day they will. Maybe when I stop lending people my favourites. My taste in literature is rather eclectic, I equally enjoy Tom Robbins, Steinbeck and Irvine Welsh, for different reasons. I typically read four books at once, finishing two of them.

A word on my tagging system: "Grim" means I cleanched my jaws more than once reading the book, "Philosophy" means reading the book gave me a better understanding of the world in general and human nature in particular, "Classic" means I think it should be read by everyone, "Drugs" means either there's lots of doping around or the plot is obviously drug inspired, "Poetic" means this is a work of prose written in a linguistically inspiring manner, "SF" means the plot is fantastical in some way.
