Über meine Bibliothek
During my university years I earned my money working in a bookstore, naturally, accumulating piles and piles of to-be-read books and a never-ending wish list. I mostly read contemporary American novels and at times like to return to classics.

"Pemberley", my user name, is not meant in a gushingly romantic way. It is a winking reference to Mr. Darcy's library in Pemberley. Austen's description of his ideal library makes me drool much more than any of Darcy's letter or love confessions.
Über mich
I have graduated in American studies, Medieval English studies and Sociology in a university here in Germany, have worked in a bookstore during my university years, been a PR intern at a book publisher and also an intern at a music magazine/publisher.

Update on life (04/10): Woohoo! I have been accepted for an intern program offered by a German bookstore giant. So far the program sounds amazing! It's a mixture between on-the-job training and studying via an e-learning program provided by the mediacampus frankfurt. So thrilled I'm back in touch with the bookselling business.
