Über meine Bibliothek

My library consists of a wide variety. I am partial to what I call "meaty" novels. (i.e The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Settefield and The Falls by Joyce Carol Oates). But I also love young adult books (House of Scorpion by Nancy Farmer is one of my favorites), mysteries (The Spellman files by Lisa Lutz and all Joy Fielding books are favs) and humor books (Laurie Notaro and David Sedaris make me giggle).
I have a son and I am reliving my favorite children's books. (Monster at the End of this Book by Grover anyone?)

You will also find many cookbooks, classics, a little Sci/Fi ( George R.R Martin) and romance (Diana Gabaldon?) on my shelves.

I am a very open reader. I like to try it all. Working at a bookstore for the last 10 years has really expanded my knowledge and love of books.

Books are more than just a hobby for me. They are my life! I am a former bookstore manager and enjoyed the bustling business of recommending and selling great books. I am now stay-at-home-mom who works part-time at a non-profit for children and as a passionate bookseller.
