Über meine Bibliothek
Most of our library, except a few books purchased or given to us after August 11, 2007 were actually rescued from our old house after it had been demolished by a large, old cottonwood tree that came down in a storm. So our books, like us, are survivors. 8^) Some of the books I brought to the house came to me from my grandfather, and a few of them had been my great-grandfather's.
Über mich
In an ideal world, I'd be a librarian or archivist, but I'm not. Instead, I help care for documents for a major financial services corporation. So I'm organizing our books, and getting them on shelves. Yes, "our" because I'm married to a wonderful woman, and some of the books she brought. Both of us used to work in libraries.
