I am a children's book author. My books are a combination of storybook, as well as factual sections. My books are well-suited to nature-loving children in the 5-12 age group.

My first book is "Stripe's Busy Night in the Bushveld," about a honey badger and several nocturnal animals, including Africa's "Secret Seven," African wildcat, genet, serval, porcupine, aardvark, civet, and pangolin amongst others.

My second book is "Spot's Busy Day in the Bushveld," about a cheetah and Africa's "Big Five" animals: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. The factual section has information on Africa's "Big Five," as well as cheetahs and African wild dogs the latter of which have landed on the Endangered Species Red List.

These two books were inspired by my childhood visits to the Kruger National Park in South Africa where wildlife flourishes in a natural setting. I hope that my books will raise awareness about the plight of imperiled species like the pangolin, rhino, and African wild dog and encourage future generations to protect them before they suffer from a terrible fate and disappear from the face of earth.
