My LibraryThing catalog reflects the contents of my household library, though that may change to accommodate ratings and reviews of borrowed books in the future. Aside from fiction (including a lot of childhood favorites such as Choose Your Own Adventure, R.L. Stine, and Where's Waldo), I have a fairly large selection of nutrition and natural living books which I'm tagging with NNL to make browsing easier. I look forward to sharing information with others here in hopes that we may each discover new favorites.

I thank my father for my lifelong love of books. I love reading (and rereading) them, collecting them, the smell of old and new, the feel of the pages, and the splendid cover art. Residing primarily in the Carolinas, though I spent four years in Washington, I've had a myriad of interests including farming and natural living; nutrition, both of humans and other animals; genetics; the cataloging and organization of collections, from books to biological specimens; the reading of fiction, viewing of movies, and playing of video games, especially in the fantasy genre, and especially with friends; and discussing philosophy and the related issues of political systems, religions, morality, and ethics. I'm eager to take advantage of LibraryThing for my own library's organization, and for the ease of sharing my books when networking with others.
