Über meine Bibliothek
The library is unfunded. Most of the materials are collected through used book stores, thrift shops, and library book sales. Occasionally I purchase new books. I am a retired children's librarian. The focus is on African American materials, of course, with some other high interest, classic, and homework-related items. Since some children attend bilingual schools and some are Latinx, we also have some Spanish books. This is just the beginning of creating a catalog. We will begin with the African-American titles.
Über mich
A library in an after school program with an African-American focus. There is also a small waiting room collection in office of the mental health and community support center.
