Über meine Bibliothek
I am beginning to catalogue my private library at home, but for the moment I am limiting my inclusion based on the following parameter:

* Only physical books so far. Later I might add ebooks, of which I have plenty, especially work-related, even though I am not fond of digital reading.

* Mostly only non-fiction books so far. I have begun to include a few novels, which happened to be shelved near my more scholarly books, but the bulk of my fiction books probably has to wait a while.

* Only with ISBN signature, mainly due to convenience for now. This leaves out older books, maps, of which I have a lot, and things like reports, pamphlets, special prints etc.

* I am especially slow at adding my German-language books, especially older ones; partly because many of them are stored elsewhere.

In general this means that my collection here consists mainly of scholarly works on history, philosophy, social theory and international relations.

I might add borrowed books, especially if they have meant a lot to me, at a later date. However, I am afraid this will make my list here too unwieldy.

This is still work in progress... Tagging in particular will take a while.
