Hi. I'm Dani. I read lots and lots of YA and then I blog about it... incessantly. I got into the YA genre about two years ago after reading Cassandra Clare's then-trilogy, The Mortal Instruments, and ever since then have been voraciously reading every YA I can get my hands on, though I mainly stick to paranormal, fantasy, romance, sci-fi, and steampunk. Just recently, and especially with the rise of Indie publishing and their dependence on good word-of-mouth, I resolved to start writing regular reviews on Goodreads for the YA books I read. Reviewing has been such a great excercise in thinking critically and organizing my thoughts about stories that I love (and the ones that I don't), that I began my own book blog, Refracted Light Reviews, where I review both traditionally published as well as self-published books.
