Loads of art and art history, piles of cognitive science, numerous philosophy, history, certainly not enough science fiction but plenty of food related books. If it's about lobsters it's probably in my library. You better believe it.

Über mich

Started as a Newsweek researcher and reporter, later I became the founding editor of weekly feature magazine for a regional newspaper. After ten years at the paper I went back to school to study at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Over the years I've written many, many articles, one of the first feminist books for educators, a couple of guidebooks,a few biographies and a mammoth reference: The Penguin Concise Dictionary of Art History.
On October 9, 2012 my new book—I, LOBSTER; A CRUSTACEAN ODYSSEY was published.
