I am a writer of young adult and contemporary fiction. My debut young adult novel, THE PULL OF GRAVITY (armed with the wisdom of Yoda and the beauty of Steinbeck, two teens set out on a secret whirlwind road trip to keep a promise to a dying friend - hardcover fsg/macmillan 2011) is now out in paperback from Square Fish and was a Bank Street College Best in Children's Fiction, ages 12 - 14 for 2012. My next YA novel, THE SUMMER OF LETTING GO, comes out March 2014 from Algonquin Young Readers. I am represented by Jim McCarthy of Dystel & Goderich.
