Über michI'm a digital archivist and digital asset manager, and I've been a university archivist and special collections librarian, and a cataloging and metadata librarian. My career just feeds into my obsession with the written word.

You'll note I have several titles in philosophy and history on my list, because I am an eternal student in those fields.

My favorite book, if I had to name just one, would be "Wittgenstein's Mistress" by David Markson. I read it at least once a year, and it's different every time.

Recommendations are always appreciated!

Über meine BibliothekOnce upon a time, I tried to buy every book I could get my hands on, but that was not a good idea. So, I've sold off or given away most of my books. I am now a committed library user, except for those few books I really want to own.

So, my 'library' here is not representative of things I own. Instead, I'm using it to keep track of books I've read.

About the tag 'VWL': These are books listed in "Vietnam war literature: an annotated bibliography of imaginative works about Americans fighting in Vietnam" 2nd ed. by John Newman with Ann Hilfinger (Metuchen, NJ: Scarecrow Press, 1988)
