- Lauri Fortino is a picture book author, blogger, Library Assistant, and a library/literacy supporter. She has a degree in Library and Information Services and a certificate in Writing Stories For Children. She is a member of SCBWI, ALA, and NYSLAA.
Her debut picture book, The Peddler's Bed, is due out September 1, 2015 from Ripple Grove Press and will be illustrated by Bong Redila.
Her picture book, The Dinosaur Tag Survival Guide, was a 2014 MeeGenius Author Challenge finalist and will be available soon as an enhanced eBook via the MeeGenius app. It will be illustrated by Ruben Carral.
