I was born on 09.04.1979 in Columbus, Nebraska to two loving parents. I grew up with my grandparents and cousins living nearby, so I was always surrounded by family. I loved going exploring in the fields and woods near our house, and I was always happiest when I was outside.

I went to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and studied journalism and English. After college, I moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where I've been a CopyWriter for over 10 years now. In my spare time (which is rare), I like to write essays about motherhood for a database website. I also love cooking (and eating), painting, horsing around (literally), enjoying nature walks, and spending time with my husband.
