Über meine Bibliothek
I have a rather eclectic library but it tends to be heaviest in the realm of history and mystery. I'm an avid mystery and thriller fan. My main hobby for many years was 18th Century living history so those texts are reflected on my shelves as well.

"I cannot live without books." Thomas Jefferson's quote certainly applies in my case. I love books and reading. Few things bring me more joy.

I am trained as a Surgical Technologist but in 2006 was diagnosed with End Stage Liver Disease and required a liver transplant to save my life. I am an active member of Donate Life SC promoting organ and tissue donation. I also write the bog "Got Liver?" which presents my struggle with liver disease and the transplant as well as medical news and information on donation.
