Über meine Bibliothek
My focus is on elementary readings - particularly the primary (K-2)age groups. My students begin reading PreDecodable picture books from the SRA Open Court Reading series while I get to see them go from 'guessing' picture names to actually reading words. One of the GREATEST joys I have felt as a teacher is helping a child learn how to read.
Über mich
I am a native of Gadsden County. I served 4 honorable years in the U. S. Coast Guard after high school graduation. I worked in the corporate field (IBM and Alamo Rent A Car) many years before becoming a teacher. I have moved Kindergarten Department Chair to a second grade teacher but am still a FSU Project Lead student pursuing my masters degree in Information Studies. "I am TOO BLESSED to be stressed!"
