My library is small, containing perhaps only a few hundred books of note. A large percentage of the are scholarly Christian works, but I have a lot of technical books also, about building trades, automotive interests, the sciences, and a few novels and cookbooks tossed in for good measure.

What is there to say about me? I can sum it up in two words: Nothing special. Never-the-less, I was born in 1951, and had a normal, middle class American life. I was married in my 20's, and divorced soon after. I discovered Jesus plan for my life and salvation, only a few months before I was divorced. My new knowledge of the Creator and his love, helped me through that diffcult time.
I was listening to a local radio station not even realizing it was a Christian station for several days, because I was just enjoying the sound of the music, not paying attention to the words. However, I eventually figured it out, and to my delight as a new Christian, found some excellent teaching programs on that station. Every Saturday night was "Christianity on Trial", a 3 hour call in apologetics radio program hosted by Dr. John Warick Montgomery. On Sunday Evening, was "the Bible Answerman", a 3 hour call in program with Dr. Walter Martin, about Bible questions and answers. I never missed any of those programs.
From these two well known teachers and authors, I learned a lot. I also attending Dr. Martin's adult Sunday School class for many years, and many seminars and lectures from Dr. Montgomery, even having the great pleasure of accompanying him on a 2 week Holyland tour. In fact, it was doing a Google search on Dr. Montgomery, that led me to this site.
Later in my Christian walk, I met James Russel Spillman, and became equally enthralled learning from him through books, lectures and "Super School" - learning the Bible and Koine Greek.
These three men served as my mentors, on spiritual and intellectual aspects of Christianity.
I remarried in 1984 to a wonderful Cristian woman, and we have 5 grown children, of whom I am very proud. I can often be found chatting on Worthychat, with my brothers and sister in Christ.
Addendum: My wife passed in June of 2014 - I am pleased to report that God is gracious in taking her and caring for me.
