It started out as whatever I could get my hands on. Then I started upgrading to hardcovers whenever they were not too expensive. I think I could get into somewhat serious book collecting. First editions I'm sure would be beyond reach.
Über mich
I started out a big science fiction and fantasy reader. I got tired of wading through the poor science fiction to find the roughly 1 in 5 books that was interesting and had new ideas. I improved the situation by reading the Hugo and Nebula award winners. That got me hooked on "reading lists" and for the last few years I've been working through the highly ranked books from several "greatest books" lists.
