I have a collection of more than 900 books. A good part of this is fiction, though I am interested in biography and science fiction as well. My favorite authors are Le Carre, Dick Francis and Steinbeck.

I am a scientist and occupies the Meghnad Saha Chair in Plasma Science and Technology at the Institute for Plasma Research, Gandhinagar, India. The work at the institute covers plasma physics, thermonuclear fusion and industrial applications.
