Über meine Bibliothek
The African Book Collaborative (ABC) is a library developed by community members across the city of Toronto. This library was designed to build the capacity of young people, our candidates, and community stakeholders. The majority of the books and archived materials in this collection are culturally specific to the politics, history, spirituality, geography, and achievements of peoples of African decent. This rich resource of reading materials in East Toronto, which is comprised largely of small individual book donations and significant legacy donations made by by community elders who have passed on, is a reflection of the unity and self-determination of the African-Canadian community, and broader equity seeking communities across Ontario.
Über mich
Redemption and Reintegration Services (RRS) grew out of the community it serves, working to provide youth offenders with the programs and services they need to become skilled, active and engaged members of the community. RRS focuses on youth as assets to society, and works to increase resilience, capacity and agency among youth.

RRS has become a leader in reintegration, demonstrating that their approach -- which gives youth ownership over themselves, creates a sense of community accountability and nurtures positive growth – works.
