I am the type that will buy any book I've heard recommended if I see it at a good price, as well as anything that looks interesting if it's a bargain. So my shelves at home are full of a fairly strong collection of contemporary chart-toppers and classics through to books on economics, politics or sociology which might have grabbed my fancy. Plus I have quite a collection of foreign books as I study languages and much prefer reading original versions. One day I will have them all in one place, too, rather than scattered between my three home bases...
