I am an independent author in the fantasy genre who has recently published my first novel, "Forsaken Lands Book 1: Tragedy." Writing is my outlet, my way to unwind in my free time. I’m not publishing with the idea that I’m going to make lots of money doing it, but rather I am publishing because like many artists, my art is most meaningful when it is viewed by someone other than myself. Whether I not I have many readers in the future, I will continue writing – so far I cannot be stopped!

As far as more biographical info, I currently live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and our two adorable kitties. My day job is in the medical field. My husband and I are both certified nerds, fans of Star Trek, Firefly, True Blood, Game of Thrones, Stargate, and a number of other science fiction and fantasy related worlds. We may occasionally be found meandering through comic cons or PAX dressed as Saffron and Jayne.
