Mr. Ratterman was born and raised in sunny California's San Francisco Bay Area and currently resides in Norway with his lovingly supportive wife and daughter.

His passion for writing poetry and short stories began while attending high school. In college Mr. Ratterman participated in an improvisational drama course under the direction of a professional San Francisco Bay Area based actor, later studying creative writing through Liberty University.

The following years found him writing skits and plays for the stage, creating websites, and composing letters-to-the-editor and featured articles.

Most recently Mr. Ratterman studied acting under a two-time Academy Awards winner of 'Best Actor in a Leading Role' through MasterClass.
