Tess Gerritsen and Harlan Coben are two of my new favourite authors as you can see in my library. I have read some classics, and plan to read more to add to my library. Ones that I possess are "To Kill a Mockingbird" and my favourite book of all time "The Good Earth". I will, on occasion, read a romance novel....my author of choice is Barbara Delinsky or Luanne Rice.

**Updating as I haven't been on here in a while. My health took a nosedive this past year - finding out I have degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and most recently ulcerative colitis. In addition to that, my sister had open heart surgery and was hospitalized for 8 months. She subsequently passed away in August unexpectedly, as her health was much improved. It is now time to resume active reading. I grew up in a generation that didn't have video games, or cable (although we did get it eventually!), or DVDs. Reading was a passionate form of entertainment as I could use my imagination and pretend that I was Meg March or Nancy Drew or Laura Ingalls. Other things I love? Cooking, travelling, my 2 cats, my 2 kids (although I am an empty-nester), the ruggedness of the Newfoundland coastline, the awesomeness of the Canadian Rockies. I plan to explore the fantasy and modern-day vampire genres.
